Editorial policy

Prime Design Journal aims to make design ideas clear without pretending that every question has one right answer. We distinguish observable details from interpretation and correct the record when we find an error.

Accuracy and context

We check names, terminology and factual statements against suitable sources before publication, and take care not to present an interpretation as settled fact. When a topic depends on a particular place, period or use, we say so rather than imply that one example speaks for all design.

Independence

Editorial decisions are made for readers, not to promise favourable coverage to a partner. A commercial relationship does not buy an editorial conclusion, and relevant conflicts are disclosed with the material.

Corrections

If you spot a factual error or an unclear passage, contact us with the article title and the detail in question. We review correction requests and amend published material when warranted, making a clear note where the change matters to a reader's understanding.

Partner material and illustrations

Paid or partner-supported material is labelled so readers can tell it apart from independent editorial work. Some illustrations may be generated with AI; where that is relevant, we identify them as generated illustrations and do not present them as documentary photographs.

Our point of view

Design is made of choices

We look beyond whether something looks good to ask how its form, materials and setting shape the way people use it.
